Mary Claudia McInnis Key

SPANISH FORT In Loving Memory On Saturday, May 16, 2015 Mary Claudia McInnis Key, age 66, passed away peacefully at home in Spanish Fort, AL surrounded by family. After having fought through a lengthy illness, Mary can now rest in peace knowing this is not the end, but the beginning. Mary is survived by her husband, Robert C. Key, her son Morgan A. Barnett, her daughters Mary E. Key and Ashleigh C. Key (Sweatt), and grandchildren Mary C. Sweatt and Hunter J. Sweatt; sisters Joye Wheeler, Lynn Wilkins, and many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Mary is preceded in death by her parents Claude Andress McInnis and Mary Wall McInnis; sister Patricia M. Caldwell and brother Frank F. McInnis. Mary having grown up in Monroe County moved to the Mobile area in the early 1970's. It was in Mobile that Mary began her professional career in the Insurance industry which lasted over three decades. Mary prided herself on taking care of her clients and developed many lasting relationships. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife. She devoted her life to caring for her children and even more so for her grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2015, at 2:00PM at Jubilee Memorial Gardens.
