Amy Grace Guindon

Amy Grace Guindon, age 84, a resident of Daphne, AL, passed away Friday, May 8, 2015. She was the owner/operator of Guindon’s Country Kitchen in Fairhope. She was a local leader of 4-H club for many years, also a leader of Fairhope Homemaker’s Club, and a member of Fairhope Christian Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, William R. Guindon; a daughter, Emma Suzanne Fatkins; and sister, Jean Bowers. She is survived by her children, Melissa (Michael) Duriga of Louisville, OH, Sara Simon of Birmingham, AL, Ruth (Michael) Sarro of Wellington, AL, Edward (Ginny) Guindon of Birmingham, AL, Beverly (Terry) Walker of Daphne, AL and Amy (Brian) Church of Akron, PA; 20 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; brother, James C. Free of Sierra Vista, AZ. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 11, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Fairhope Christian Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow in Fairhope Friends Cemetery.
