Helen Novak

Helen Novak, a resident of Fairhope, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on April 26, 2015 at the age of 91. Mrs. Novak is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Edward J. Novak. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Novak Smith and son-in-law, Marshall Smith of Fairhope; grandson, Marty Smith and his wife Emily Crigler Smith; two great grandchildren, Halle Smith and Maxwell Smith of Daphne; two nieces, Virginia Novak Diaz, Norma Novak, and a nephew Bill Novak all of Illinois. Mrs. Novak is also survived by her life-long faithful friend, Betty Sykora, Linda Sykora Gilmore, and their extended families. The family would like to thank the staff of The Brennity of Fairhope, Thomas Hospital, Gentiva Home Health & Gentiva Hospice, and the extraordinary staff of Robertsdale Health Care Center. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. The visitation will begin at 10:00 until service time.
