Paul R. Parker

FAIRHOPE, AL Paul Richard Parker, 61, of Fairhope, AL, passed away on April 9th. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Jo Parker and brother, David Parker. He is survived by his wife, Rev. Laura Parker, sons Tyler Parker of Fairhope, AL, and Andrew Parker of Miami, FL, and brother, John (Linda) Parker of Orange Beach, AL. He graduated from Auburn University in 1977 with a degree in Building Science and enjoyed a career in construction management specializing in healthcare. Mr. Parker used his knowledge and experience in construction to lead many mission teams over the years building Methodist Churches in Costa Rica. Of all the hats he wore, though, his favorite was that of father. His friends and family will remember him for his expansive spirit and enthusiasm for living life to its fullest. A memorial service will be held at Fairhope United Methodist Church in Fairhope, AL, Sunday, April 12th at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
