Norman E. Wagner, Jr. -Passed with peace and grace on March 25, 2015. Preceded in death by his wife Claire Jean Knight Wagner, and daughter Melissa Wagner. Survived by son Norman E. Wagner, III of Hueytown, daughter Norma (Dr. James) McAndrew of Fairhope; grandchildren: Kellie McLain of Jasper, Matthew Rogers of Austin, TX , Neal Wagner of Pelham, Troy Wagner of Northport, and several great grandchildren. Norman was born in Buena Vista, Va., attended Howard (Samford) College and was a member of Sigma Nu. He received his law degree from Birmingham School of Law, where he graduated Suma Cum Laude. He retired from Connors Steel where he was personnel manager and corporate attorney. He proudly served in the Navy and Marines. He was past president of Birmingham Ski Club, coached little league and all star baseball teams. He went into private practice for a short time before retiring to Fairhope. After retirement he found pleasure in gardening, raising chickens, and working his land. A service will be held graveside at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, in Trussville on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 11 a.m. in the Garden of the Good Shepard.
