Warren "Babe" Alms

ALMS ELBERTA, AL Warren M. “Babe” Alms, age 81, a lifelong resident of Elberta, AL., passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at his residence. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed meeting and serving others through Alms Pump Service for more than forty years. Mr. Alms is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur H. and Anna Alms; three brothers, Arthur Alms, Jr., Leon Alms and Fred Alms. Survivors include his wife of fifty two years, Meta Alms; one son, Mark Alms; two daughters, Samantha Alms and Malinda (Donnis) Kichler; two brothers, John (Barbara) Alms and Raymond (Betty L.) Alms; two sisters in-laws, Clara Alms and Betty J. Alms; two grandchildren, Matt Kichler and Nathan (Shellie) Kichler; two great grandchildren, Blakely and McCoy Kichler all of Elberta, AL.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at 2:00pm at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Keith Ringers officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00pm until time of the service. Interment will follow at St. Mark’s Lutheran Cemetery.
