Laura O Weinacker

Laura O. Weinacker, age 74, a resident of Point Clear, AL, passed away at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope, on Tuesday, March 3, 2015. Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel J. Oates, Sr. and Eula Fay Oates (Dotson); her siblings, Frances A. Oates, Daniel J. Oates, Jr. Richard J. Oats (Carol), Henri V. Flynn and Bernadette Haynes (Allen). Laura is survived by her husband, Rick Weinacker; daughter, Paula D. Walker (Ben); son, Joe Weinacker (Terrie), and the Light of her Life, grandson, Cas Weinacker. Laura grew up in Prichard, AL and attended grammar school at St. Joseph and Cathedral. She graduated from Bishop Toolen Catholic High School, Class of ’58. Laura loved her God, Catholic Faith and her family. She enjoyed many sun sets on Mobile Bay. The family would like to thank Dr. John McDuff, Dr. Jimmie Gavras, Dr. William Taylor and all the staff of The Mitchell Cancer Institute, 4th floor Thomas Hospital Annex for their professional and loving care. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Fairhope. The family will receive friends 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass. Interment will be held in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
