Todd A Sickel

SICKEL ORANGE BEACH, AL Todd Allen Sickel, age 80, a resident of the Gulf Coast of Alabama since 1986, passed away Friday, February 6, 2015. Todd was born May 3, 1934 in Kansas City where he resided most of his life. A graduate of Central High School he went on to attend the University of Missouri at Columbia. He was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and a proud member of the 1954 Mizzou baseball NCAA World Series Championship and inducted in the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame. He went on to sign with the Brooklyn Dodgers AAA Team. Todd was an avid golfer, meeting many good golf buddies along his way, but the 19th hole was his favorite. He leaves behind many wonderful friends. Todd was a member of the U.S. Military. He is survived by his wife, Melanie Sickel of Orange Beach, AL, three daughters, Linda Cooke, Laura Baumann and Jennifer Daley, five grandchildren; Katherine, Peter and Isabel Cook, Andrew and Nicholas Baumann. A Celebration of Todd’s Life will be held at Franco’s Italian Restaurant in Orange Beach, March 3, 2015 at 6:00pm.
