Michael Edward Buchanan

Michael Edward Buchanan, age 67, a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Monday, February 9, 2015. He was a member of Fairhope Community Church; a retired US Navy Veteran; a member of the Alabama Baptist disaster relief team; and most recently employed as a machinist with Hydratech Industries. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Dorothy Buchanan of Fairhope; son, Robert E. Buchanan; daughter, Lori Boudreaux (Allen), all of Raceland, LA; six grandchildren, Justin, Joshua, James, Drew, Kylee, and Dylan; brother, Joe Alan (Barbara G.) Buchanan of Jacksonville, NC; and sister, Margaret Ann Buchanan of Waxahatchie, TX. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Fairhope Community Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Fairhope Community Church 329 S. Greeno Rd.
