Bonnie McKenzie Burmeister

Bonnie McKenzie Burmeister, age 79, a lifelong resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away on Monday, February 09, 2015. Bonnie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Daphne, AL. She is preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Willie Burmeister of Fairhope; daughter, Katrina (Doug) Schonemann; sons, Billy (Kim) Burmeister, all of Fairhope, and Ronnie (Tania) Burmeister of Florence, KY; grandchildren, Peter (Amy) Burmeister of Milton, FL, Tara Schonemann of Fairhope, Roger (Allison) Schonemann of Montgomery, AL, Shelby (A1C Joey)Thomas of Colorado Springs, CO, Mackenzie Burmeister of Florence, KY, PV2 Peyton Smith of Fairhope, AL; two great grandchildren, Eliana Rose Thomas and Maggie Allison Burmeister. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 from 5:00 until 7:00pm at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
