PERDEW FOLEY, AL Wayne Allen Perdew, age 82, a resident of Foley, AL. passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015. He was the owner and operator of Shirley and Wayne’s Restaurant and Lounge, a U.S. Army Veteran, Mason, Shriner and a Jester. Mr. Perdew is preceded in death by his parents Calvin and Bessie Perdew of Flintstone, MD and the youngest of ten siblings. Survivors include his wife of 41 years Shirley Perdew of Foley, AL., sons, Danny (BeBe) Perdew of Greeley, CO., David Perdew of Pensacola, FL., stepson, Jack (Debi) Jensen of Portsmouth, VA., grandchildren, Tara Wood, Jennifer (Ben) Turner, Amanda and Sara Jensen, Alex (Zeriauh)Perdew, David Perdew, II, great grandchildren, Danny Perdew, Caleb Perdew, Alexis Grace Perdew, Chaiyah Grider, Collin Wood and Jackson Turner; other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Wayne’s Life will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made in Wayne’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Tomas Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.
