Frederick Raye Herr

Herr Orange Beach, AL Frederick Raye Herr, of Orange Beach,Alabama,passed away December 28, 2014. A native of Pensacola,he graduated from Auburn University with a degree in business and received his MBA from Harvard. He began and ended his career with the Federal Reserve Bank. After 42 years, Fred retired in 2011 and enjoyed boating and fishing and spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his wife Terry Lazenby Herr, sons Brian Christopher Herr [Allison] and Jonathan Rivers Herr [Paige] both of Birmingham, AL; step-daughter Taryn Bolls Owens [Travis] of Columbiana, AL, and six grandchildren: Jake Herr, Helen Herr, Sam Herr, Henry Herr, Corinne Owens, and Jennie Owens. Funeral services will be held at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Chapel in Foley, Alabama on Friday, January 2, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. with visitation from 12:00-1:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will be held in Birmingham, Alabama at a later date.
