Perry Leland Vaughn, Jr.

On November 30, 2014, Perry Leland Vaughn Jr. (Bo Bo), surrounded by his loving family, peacefully went to meet Jesus. Perry courageously battled cancer for 1 1/5 years. He was a very faithful servant of God and a devoted family man. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and enjoyed his men’s and Bible Study groups. He loved his life and lived it to the fullest. Perry cherished his many family members and friends. He was blessed with the gift of being a good counselor. He proudly worked for APS for 15 years. He loved baseball, playing and watching the game. He also loved going to the beach, to the movies, plays and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Charolette; son, Matthew; grandson, Rory; step-daughter, Shanna (Wade) Wilkins; granddaughter, Harper: father, Perry L. Vaughn, Sr. (Cuc T); sisters, Carol (Charles) Gurganus, Joyce (Kenny) Boatman; brothers, Billy (Susan) Vaughn, Stewart (Claudia) Vaughn; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many extended family members. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Visitation will be held at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Tuesday, December 02, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Catholic Social Services.
