Donna Mae Resmondo

RESMONDO PERDIDO BEACH, ALABAMA Donna Mae Resmondo, Age 89, born in Lansing, Michigan and a native of Perdido Beach, Alabama passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014. Mrs. Resmondo was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Community of Christ, Robertsdale, AL; a building block in starting the Perdido Beach Volunteer Fire Department; co-owner operator of Resmondo Boat Works and operated the last post office in Perdido Beach. Mrs. Resmondo is preceded in death by a son-in-law, Rhoe A. “Al” Thompson and sisters, Lois Krantz Brock and Lorraine Krantz Benavidez Survivors include her husband, Leon W. “Buddy” Resmondo; a daughter, Donna Lynn Thompson; two sons, Ronald “Ronnie” (Holly) Resmondo, and Joey (Tina) Resmondo all of Perdido Beach, AL; grandchildren, Jason Haupt, Adam and Brent Resmondo and Carley Resmondo; other relatives and friends. Services will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 10:30am at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 9:00am until time of the service at 10:30am. Interment will be in Elberta Public Cemetery.
