Nancy Petway Helton

FAIRHOPE Nancy Petway Helton, age 93, grew up in Hattiesburg, lived in Pascagoula, MS then retired to Fairhope, AL. She passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Evans G. Helton and two sons, Leon (Jabbo) Helton and Thomas J. Helton. Mrs. Helton is survived by a daughter, Annette (Jim) Lay of Daphne, AL; two nieces, Katherine Helton and Dorothy McNeil; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Daphne, AL. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until time of the service. Interment will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery, Mobile at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the Disabled American Veterans, Care House, or Salvation Army. The family would like to send a special thank you to her caretakers at Country Place Senior Living, Fairhope and Community Hospice.
