Lois Spangle Rammel

FAIRHOPE, ALMrs. Lois Spangle Rammel, age 84 went to be with our Lord and her loving husband, Ralph Richard (Dick) on October 9, 2014.Lois was born on February 16,1930 in Angola, Indiana and attended Indiana University. She later lived in Logansport, Indiana and Atlanta, Georgia before moving to Fairhope.Lois is survived by her brother; Charles Spangle of Angola, IN and four children: Vicki Rammel of Franklin, North Carolina, Janet Roy of Galveston, Texas, Martha Hinman ( Pete) of Abilene, Texas, and Richard  Rammel (Karen) of Spanish Fort, Alabama. Lois, affectionally known as GG by many, was blessed with 5 grandchildren and 11 great grand children.Fairhope became her home in 1994 where she became an active member of Fairhope Christian church and immersed herself in the local community. Lois filled her days by volunteering for the auxiliary at Thomas hospital logging over 6000 hours of service. Her competitive spirit was revealed playing cards and dominoes at the Nix center while her zest for life took her on many world adventures. As a relentless sport's fan she spent many hours rooting for her favorite teams. However what meant the most to her was spending time with her many friends and family.The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Sunday, October 12, 2014, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.Funeral services will be held at First Christian Church of Fairhope, Monday, October 13, 2014, at 4:00pm.Interment will be in Green Lawn Cemetery, Roswell, GA, Saturday, October 18, 2014.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Haven, 559 S.
