Wanda Lee Murfin

SILVERHILL, AL Wanda Lee Murfin, age 85, a resident of Silverhill, AL, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Robertsdale; a Christian wife and mom; former secretary to Director of Nursing at Thomas Hospital & Lakeside Hospital in Metairie, LA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Reverend William R. Murfin. She is survived by her six children, Brenda Marchman of Madison, MS, Russ Murfin of Silverhill, AL, Martin Murfin of Silverhill, AL, Nancy Hall of Fairhope, AL, Martha Tauzin of Mansfield, TX, and Laurie Pierce of Baton Rouge, LA; eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; along with many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at The First Baptist Church of Robertsdale, AL. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to The First Baptist Church of Robertsdale Building Fund; P.O.
