Mary Alice Driskell

FOLEY, ALABAMA Mary Alice Driskell, Age 91, born in Wabash County, Indiana and a resident of Foley, AL passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2014 . She was a bus driver and teacher in the Baldwin County Public School System for many years. She was a cook at Country Cookin, hostess at Cracker Barrel in Foley , member of the Red Hat Society, Women’s Auxillary and a well known member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Mrs. Driskell is survived by one daughter, Joanie and her husband, Michael Whitehead of Dallas, TX; one son John and his wife, Donna Driskell of Elberta, AL; one sister, Flossie Calloway of Bon Secour, AL; six grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 6, 2014 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 10:00am at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Foley. Interment will be in Pleasantview Baptist Church Cemetery.
