John Dudley Gentry, Jr.

GENTRY, JR. DAPHNE John Dudley Gentry, Jr., age 89, a native of Jefferson County and a resident of Daphne passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents John Gentry, Sr. and Muriel Gentry. John proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Virginia Gentry of Daphne; daughters, Sandra (Leon) Cobb of Slocomb, Kara Jan (Tim) Cudd of Daphne, Susanne (Landrum) Leavell of Denton, TX.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; many other loving relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday, September 26, 2014 from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM from the Chapel at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home with Dr. Landrum Leavell and Dr. Paul Matthews officiating. Interment will follow at Jubilee Memorial Gardens.
