Wayne Wilson

MONTROSE Wayne Weaver Wilson, age 82, a resident of Montrose, AL, passed away Friday, August 01, 2014. Wayne was a retired Fire Marshal at Scott Paper Company, Mobile, AL. He was a long time resident of Montrose who loved living on the Eastern Shore for its natural beauty and “jubilees”. He was known for his generosity and he loved helping others. During his lifetime, he drove everything from the Model A to a 2014 Corvette. He had a true passion for the automobile and traveling the highways of the greater southeast. During his retirement, deer hunting, reading and spending time with friends and family gave him the most joy! He is preceded in death by his son, Weaver Wilson. He is survived by his wife, Judy Wilson of Montrose; daughters, Rene’ Wilson (Deb) of Brevard, NC, and Audre Coleman (Byron) of Columbia, TN; son, Alan Wilson (Donna) of Stapleton, AL; daughter-in-law, Donna Wilson of Mobile; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, August 3, 2014 at 3 PM at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
