Rose Anne Smith

FAIRHOPE, AL Rose Anne Feathers Smith, age 71, a resident of Fairhope, AL passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2014. She was a graduate of Fairhope High School then resided and raised her family in Laurel, MS. She was a member of Eastern Shore Presbyterian Church and an active member of The Laurel YWCA and E S A. Rose was recently preceded in death by her husband, Carey Charles Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Laurie (Peter) Sikorowski of Fairhope; three sons, Robby (Krisha) Smith of Fairhope, David (Stephen Nix) Smith of Nashville, TN and Patrick Smith of Baltimore, MD; four granddaughters, Megan, Emily, Autumn and Carey Anne; one grandson, Jonathan; one brother, John (Anne) Feathers of Greenville, AL and mother-in-law, Dorothy Smith of McComb, MS. Graveside services and interment will be held Friday, August 1, 2014 at 11:00 AM in Memory Gardens of Fairhope. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital or St. Jude Research Hospital.
