CASSEBAUM LILLIAN, AL Gerda Louise Feil Cassebaum, age 77, a native of Addison, IL and a resident of Lillian, AL, died Saturday, July 19, 2014. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. Mrs. Cassebaum was preceded in death by herHusband, Curtis Carl Cassebaum,Parents, Gottfried and Gerda Feil. She is survived by her:two daughters, Dianna Shirley,Pam (Jeremy) Lay; one son, Todd (Hope) Cassebaum;eight grandchildren, Kristin Cassebaum, Kelsey Cassebaum, August Cassebaum,Elisa Kinard, Karl Shirley, Tanner Kinard, Madison Lay, Morgan Lay,two great grandchildren, Destiny and Amelia Hauck, all of Lillian;one brother, Werner (Ellen) Feil of Bon Secour;many nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, Tuesday, July 22, 2014, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held from St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Elberta, Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at 2:00pm. Interment will follow in St. Mark’s Lutheran Cemetery.The family will have a Celebration of Life following at Cassebaum Farm in Lillian, AL. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made in memory of Gerda Cassebaum to the American Cancer Society.
