Joseph Alman Till

ROBERTSDALE, AL Joseph Alman “Joe” Till, age 73, resident of Baldwin County, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He attended Assembly of God Church in Summerdale. Mr. Till retired from Yellow Motor Freight Company and was a member of the Teamsters Union for 30 years. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Gertrude Vaughn Till and a sister, Elsie Coach. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara W. Till of Robertsdale; a daughter, Teresa Ann (Lee) Day of Robertsdale; a son, John Robert Till of Marietta, GA; three sisters, Annette Burgett, Esther Russell, Barbara (Gary) Prestridge; two brothers, Stanley Till, Michael David (Leslie) Till; six grandchildren, Rachel (Brian) Faircloth, Joseph “Brad” Day, Luke Till, Ian Till, Lee (Megean) Day, Shannon Chapman and numerous other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park. The family wishes to express a special thank you to Southern Care Hospice for their care and compassion.
