DAPHNE Margaret Jessica “Maggie” Robinson, beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, and friend, died suddenly on June 30, 2014 at the age of 44. She was born in Calumet, Michigan on November 4, 1969 while her father was serving in the Armed Forces stationed in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. She was predeceased by her grandfather Hugh J. Robinson, Jr. She is survived by her father, William A. Robinson and her step-mother, Sandra G. Robinson of Daphne; by her mother, Patricia B. Keith and her step-father, Don Keith of Eagle Harbor, Michigan; grandmothers, Margaret McDevitt Robinson of Atlanta and Mary Gregorich Stafford of Eagle Harbor, Michigan; brothers, Will and Stephen; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Maggie lived and worked for many years in Birmingham and lived with her family in Daphne for the past 15 years. She was a graduate of Birmingham-Southern College and earned her Master’s Degree from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. As a special-education teacher, Maggie worked with profoundly disabled young people in Birmingham and Mobile. Throughout her life, Maggie was a devoted volunteer who worked with children suffering from cancer, autism, and other disabilities. She was a frequent volunteer at Catherine Place and Mercy Medical. She loved her parish, all her many friends, and her pets. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Christ the King Catholic Church in Daphne on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 11:00 AM; Rosary at 9:30 AM in the Church, visitation will be from 10:00 -11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Belforest Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the little sisters of the poor, Sacred Heart Residence, Mobile, Alabama.
