James 'Jim' Sanders

FAIRHOPE, AL James ‘Jim’ Mitchell Sanders, age 73, Native of Thayer, MO and resident of Fairhope, AL passed away Friday, June 27, 2014. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a veteran of the National Guard. Jim retired from the Burlington Northern Sante Fe Railroad after 52 years of service. He loved watching movies, taking pictures, running, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Dian Sanders of Fairhope; two children, Jim (Teresa) Sanders, Jr. of Marietta, GA, and Melissa (Bobby) Cole of West Point, MS; step children, Elizabeth Kulman and Samuel Kulman,II, both of Magnolia Springs; grandchildren, Katie, Christie and Mitchell Sanders and Jessica Cole; step grandchildren, Rachel, Gabriel, and Lara Eve Kulman. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 29, 2014 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope. Funeral services will be Monday, June 30, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
