DAPHNE Bobby Lloyd Quigley, age 81, a native of Windsor, IL and a resident of Daphne, passed away Monday, June 9, 2014 at his residence. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Christie McDonald; two brothers, Harold Able and Richard Quigley; two sisters, Mary Wallace and Madge White. Bobby served his country during the Korean War and is a proud U. S. Navy Veteran. He retired after working 40 years with NCR and is a member of the Spanish Fort United Methodist Church. He was a 1951 graduate of Windsor High School and a 4 year starter on the Varsity Basketball team. Bob was the #1 player in Shelby County 1950 and 1951 and a member of the WHS Hall of Fame. Bobby is survived by his wife, Connie Quigley of Daphne; two sons, Phillip Quigley of Lillian and Rick Quigley of Orange Beach; one daughter, Libby Quigley of Orange Beach; five grandchildren, one brother, Kenneth Quigley of Mattoon, IL.; many other loving relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 13, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort.
