Jerry Andrew Merchant

MERCHANT DAPHNE Jerry Andrew Merchant, age 64, a native of Fairhope and a resident of Daphne, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014 at home with his family at his side. Jerry retired from the City of Fairhope in 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Bessie Merchant and his brother, Aubrey Merchant. Jerry is survived by his wife, Donna Merchant of Daphne; three children, Sean (Kim) Merchant of Elberta, Paul (Sabine) Merchant of Fairhope, Carrie Merchant of New Port News, VA.; stepson, Marc Lewis of Daphne; one sister, Linda Merchant of Fairhope; six grandchildren; many other loving relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. A private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Haven, P.O.
