HEMMERT ELBERTA, AL Jimmie Michael Hemmert, age 62, lifelong resident of Elberta, AL , passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014. Jimmie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He worked as an aircraft mechanic for over thirty years and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Dorothy Kichler Hemmert of Elberta, AL, a son; Nicholas Hemmert of Fairhope, AL, daughter; Elisa H. (Greg) Seibert of Elberta, AL, three sisters Kay (Thomas) Feely of Elberta, AL, Betty (Thomas) Grimes , Barbara Hemmert both of Panama City, FL , grandchildren; Freddie and Lucy Grace Seibert and many other family and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 11:00AM from Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, AL. The family will receive friends two hours prior to funeral service.
