Faye Lynette Montz

MONTZ FAIRHOPE, AL Beloved wife, mother and grandmother Faye Lynette Myrick Montz, age 65, a resident of Robertsdale, passed away Saturday, June 07, 2014 to start her eternal life in heaven with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Faye was born in Mobile, AL and graduated from B.C. Rain High School. She lived most of her adult life in Fairhope, AL as a homemaker providing loving care to her adoring family. She and her husband opened their business, Wholesale Optical, in Robertsdale in 1995 and moved to that area shortly thereafter. Faye was loved by everyone she met and shared her love of Christ with many. She was a true testimony of God's miraculous work. She battled cancer for nearly 8 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Mabel Myrick. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Charles E. Montz; son, Chris (Lori) Montz; daughter, Niki (Roy) Whitaker; grandsons, Hunter Montz and Whit Whitaker; sister, Gail (Tim) Masais; brothers, Glen (Helen) Myrick, Jr. and Larry (Valerie) Myrick; nieces, nephews, many other loving relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Monday, June 9, 2014, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at 10:00am. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope. Memorial donations may be made to CARE House, Baldwin County's Child Advocacy Center, where her daughter serves as Director or to the American Cancer Society.
