A. Glen Hawthorne

DAPHNE Glen Hawthorne, age 87, a longtime resident of Daphne and a charter member of Eastern Shore Baptist Church, passed away on Monday, May 19th at Thomas Hospital. He served in the U.S. Navy in World War II and was a former union representative. Glen took great joy in building furniture for his family, friends and his church. He is survived by his wife, Anita; 3 sons, David (Denise) Hawthorne of Chicago, IL., Alan (Terry) Hawthorne of Minneapolis, MN. and Sidney (Vanessa) Hawthorne of Roswell, GA.; 1 daughter, Wanda (Ed) Mosher of Daphne’ 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; 1 sister, Janis H. (Robert) Cassibry and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held, Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Eastern Shore Baptist Church at 11:00 AM.
