SPANISH FORT Stella Parker Hendrix, age 85 a native of Brewton and a resident of Spanish Fort, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014. She retired from Escambia County Commissioner’s Office in Brewton and was an active member of Spanish Fort Presbyterian Church in Spanish Fort. She is preceded in death by her husband Clarence A. Hendrix. Stella is survived by one daughter, Clara Ann (Byron) Hayles of Spanish Fort; one son, Clarence Randolph Hendrix of New York, NY; one grandson, Michael (Robin) Hayles of Spanish Fort; one granddaughter, Amy Hayles of Vancleave, MS; four great-grandchildren, Caleb Hendrix Hayles, Jacob Jordan Hayles, Penelope Ann-Nichole Hayles and Grayson Wilson Hayles, all of Spanish Fort and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Visitation will be held, Friday, May 9, 2014 from 1:30pm – 2:30pm at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. Graveside services will follow at 3:00pm at Jubilee Memorial Cemetery.
