Jerry Volovecky

  DAPHNE Jerry Volovecky, Sr., age 81, a native of Robertsdale and a longtime resident of Daphne passed away Friday, April 4, 2014 in Fairhope.  He was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church and a local farmer for many years. Mr. Volovecky was a veteran of the U. S. National Guard.  He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years; Louise Volovecky; five sons: Jerry (Nancy) Volovecky, Jr., Wayne (Olivia) Volovecky, Joseph (Debbie) Volovecky, Mark (Lucinda) Volovecky all of Daphne, Stephen (Amanda) Volovecky of Fairhope; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and many other loving relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Monday, April 7, 2014 at 9:00 AM, Celebrant of the Mass will be Father Matthew O’Connor. The family will receive friends one hour prior to Mass at the church.  Pallbearers will be Daniel Volovecky, Bryant Volovecky, Joseph Allegri, Jr., Karl Brantley, Ronnie Hedden and Glen Grimes. Honorary pallbearers will be Pat Lazzari, Tony Sanchez, Albert Keuler, Rick Morton, Ray Trione and Carl Pederson Interment will follow at Belforest Catholic Cemetery In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials made to Christ The King Catholic Church or Archangel Radio.
