Johnny Ray Cahoon

  DAPHNE Johnny Ray Cahoon, age 67, a native of Mobile and a resident of Daphne passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at his residence with his family at his side. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Johnny was preceded in death by his father, James Cahoon; daughter, Christy Cahoon; sons-in-law, Thomas Clarke, Jr. and Leon Helton and grandson, Gordon James Cahoon. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Loretta Gatwood Cahoon of Daphne; their daughter, Shawn Cahoon Clarke Helton of Daphne; grandchildren: Samuel Cahoon, Melissa Cahoon, Zachary Cahoon, Jonathan Clarke; his mother Naomi Brown of Mobile; brothers; James B. Cahoon, Jr. (Lavona) of Cherokee, Stephen Cahoon (Kym) of Richmond, CA.: sister: Mary Jo Morrissey (John) of New Orleans, LA and many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held, Sunday, April 6, 2014 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
