DAPHNE Charles Bliss Myers, age 87, a native of Pensacola, FL. and a resident of Daphne passed away Monday, February 24, 2014. He is a Ret. Major of the U. S. Army Infantry and retired federal employee with the Panama Canal Co. Chief of customs, Panama Canal. Charles is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Duncan Myers. He is survived by his sons, John (Sue) Myers of Tallahassee, FL., Charles (Ting) Myers of Pensacola, FL., Kenneth (Ileana) Myers of Panama, Republic of Panama; brother, James (Willie) Myers of Fairhope; sisters, Bobby Myers-Dahlgren and Fay Myers Gray both of Turnerville; grandchildren, Sarah (Russ) George of Denver, CO., Tessie (Kirk) Dyresen of Phoenix, AZ., Max (Jenn) Fresen of Boston, MA, Rio Kyle Myers of Panama, R. de P., Jade Marie Myers of Austin, TS., Van (Becky) Myers of Birmingham and Anna Myers of Panama R. de P.; great-grandchildren, Noa Fox Fresen and Maren Bliss George; sister-in-laws, Tessie Ramey of Memphis TN, Dot Myers of Tacoma, WA; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
