Richard Norman Rose

ROBERTSDALERichard Norman Rose, age 78, a native of Sewickley, PA and a resident of Robertsdale, AL, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014.Richard is a U.S. Navy veteran and served three tours in the Vietnam War.  Mr. Rose was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Brittany Rose.He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Christine Rose of Robertsdale; Three daughters, Chrissie (Will) Hunt of Robertsdale, Shannon (Ronnie) Pierce of Daphne, Tami (Randall) Waddle of Loxley; One son, Richard (Barbara) Rose of Elberta; One brother, Raymond Lee Rose of Sewickley, PA; Nine grandchildren, Christopher (Brooke) Chavers, Brandon Hunt, Cindy Belew and family, Kathy (Shane) Gray, Cheryl (Barry) Ritchie, Angela Newman, Tashayna Waddle, Adam Waddle, Ryan (Chelsey) Rose; Twelve great-grandchildren; Nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.  A celebration of life memorial service will be held from Vernant Park Baptist Church, Saturday, February 22, 2014, at 10:30 am.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Veterans of America, 4647 Forbes Blvd., Lanham, MD. 20706, www.amvets@amvets.org.ARRANGEMENTS BYWOLFE-BAYVIEW FUNERAL HOMES& CREMATORY, INC.27409 U S HWY 98DAPHNE, AL 36526(251)625-2900www.wolfefuneralhomes.com
