Audie Waters

FAIRHOPE, AL Audie Waters, age 91, a native of Burnt Corn, AL and a longtime resident of Fairhope, passed away Friday, February 14, 2014. Mr. Audie Waters was awarded the Meritorious Service Award by the Fairhope Rotary Club. He served as Vice President of the Fairhope Chamber of Commerce and a member of its Board of Directors for 17 years;he also served on the Board of Trustees of the Fairhope School System for 12 years. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Margaret Water of Fairhope; sons, Chris (Anne) Waters of Mobile, Jerry Waters of Fairhope; grandchildren, Rebecca and Christopher Sloop of Columbia, SC; sister, Annelle (Albert) Padget of Evergreen; brothers-in-law, Virgil (Mary) McClammy of Macon, GA, Harold (Irmgard) McClammy of Dallas, TX; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Olmstead of Montrose, Lillian LaFrancois of Southington, CT; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at 2:00pm.  The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until service time.
