FAIRHOPE Bernadine Koch Ezell, age 82, of Fairhope, AL, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Melton “Pat” Ezell. She is survived by daughter, Deborah Ramage (Joe) of Loxley; son, Melton Ezell II of Fairhope; sister, Ruth Garrett (Joe) of Fairhope; brothers, Victor Koch, of Fairhope and Dean Koch (Carolyn) of Silverhill; granddaughters, Lauren Davis (Wayne) of Daphne, Kaleigh Ezell of Silverhill; grandsons, Logan Ramage, of Atlanta, GA, and Lane Ezell of Fairhope; high school friend, Violet Littleton Lechner of Pensacola, FL; nieces, nephews. A special thank you to Oakland Place for loving care: Joyce Dempsey, Joe Ann Watson, Barbara Whitlock, Lisa Lindell, and staff. Bernadine was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fairhope and founder of Blind Support Group “The Eyes Have It”. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fairhope. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fairhope.
