Richard Lee McGill

MCGILL SILVERHILL, AL. Richard Lee McGill, Age 77, born in Missouri and a resident of Silverhill, AL, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2014 at a local hospital. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served aboard the Aircraft Carrier U.S.S. Yorktown. Mr. McGill was also an active member of Fairhope Christian Church. Mr. McGill is survived by his wife, Corliss McGill of Silverhill, AL; two daughters, Valerie (Gibby) Thomson of London, England and Jennifer McGill (Bruce) Burchfield of Fairhope, AL; one son, Dick McGill of Fairhope, AL; two sisters, Barbara Davis of Daphne, AL and Patsy Booth of Bolivar, MO; six grandchildren, Fiona, Jay, Brittany, Julie, Stuart and Greg. Graveside services and interment will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 2:00pm at Silverhill Cemetery with Rev. Danny Barfield officiating.
