William Jesse Isbell

FAIRHOPE, AL William Jesse Isbell, age 87, a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2014. He was a WWII Veteran in the U.S. Navy and served on the Batfish Submarine and looked forward to the Batfish Vets reunion in Oklahoma. William is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Florence Isbell, and his loving sister, Mary Knapp. He is survived by one daughter, Sherry Davis of Lexington, AL; three grandchildren, Travis Davis of Fairhope, Mandy Wisdom of Lexington, AL and Angela Davis of AL; three great grandchildren, Ricky Wisdom, Jr., Shy Zuniga, and Dregan Davis; numerous nieces, nephews, and loving friends. Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Friends Cemetery in Fairhope.
