Grady Lewis Blackwell

FAIRHOPE  Grady Lewis Blackwell, age 78, a native of Duffee, MS. and a resident of Fairhope passed away, Monday, January 20, 2014. He served in the US Army, was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fairhope, a member of the Gear Jammers Antique Car Club; an Alabama State Constable and he retired from the Alabama Army National Guard.  Grady is survived by his loving wife, Nancy J. Blackwell of Fairhope; his daughter, Nancy Renee (Alan) Browning, also of Fairhope; Son, Gregory Lewis (Melissa Nichole) Blackwell of Mobile; sister, Irene Massengale  of Freeny, MS; grandchildren, Nancy Elizabeth Browning, Caitlyn Nicole Blackwell and  Cole Gregory Blackwell.  Funeral Services will be held, Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 2:00 PM from the Fairhope Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home.  His family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to service time. Interment will be at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
