MONTI GULF SHORES, AL Jerome Carmelo Monti, age 89, a longtime resident of Gulf Shores, AL passed away Friday, December 27, 2013. Born in Pensacola, FL, he was a commercial fisherman in the shrimping industry for numerous years. He loved spending time with his family and friends , especially Joe and Betty Zanetti, and Buck and Jewel Keith. Jerome is survived by his sons; Jerome C. Monti, JR., Lawrence E. Monti, Anthony J. Monti, Carlos Monti all of Deltona, FL and Tracey Monti of Elberta, AL , daughters; Cynthia and Cecilia Monti of Deltona, FL, Deborah Askegren of Pensacola, FL and Joann Scher, brothers; Frankie Paul Monti of Leeds, AL , Anthony Joseph Monti of Cantonment, FL , numerous grandchildren and many other family and friends.
