Mary Katherine Foreman

FOREMAN DAPHNE, AL Mary Katherine Foreman, age 88, longtime resident of Daphne, AL, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones on Monday, December 23, 2013. She was born in Union City, TN to Louis S. and Icie Mae Luten. Before retirement, Mrs. Foreman was a longtime employee of the original Wintzell’s Oyster House in Mobile. She was devoted to her family and could bring a smile and happiness to those she cared about even when she was unaware of it. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Foreman; her son, Robert E. Foreman, her grandson, Matthew Roy Foreman and her son-in-law Roy L. Barnhill. She is survived by three children, Sandra (Gene) Buford of Chatom, AL; Mary Barnhill of Daphne, AL; Jim Foreman of Pensacola, FL, her daughter-in-law, Diann Foreman of Dixon Mills, AL, grandsons Jason Foreman of Chatom, AL, Brandon (Lisa) Barnhill of Mobile, AL, granddaughter Kelly (Josh) Patrick of Birmingham, AL, great-granddaughters Hope and Hannah Foreman of Thomasville, AL and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne, AL with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida.
