Donald Rogers

ROGERS DAPHNE, AL Donald Burl Rogers, age 77 born in Moulton, AL, and a native of Fairhope and a resident of Daphne, AL, passed away on December 18, 2013. He was a graduate of UMS where he was Valedictorian; Vanderbilt University; Massachusetts Institute of Technology; He was a Vice President with the DuPont Company, Elder at the Spanish Fort Church of Christ and President of the local bridge club where he was a Life Master bridge player. He is survived by his wife Peggy Rogers of Daphne, AL; daughters, Donna Darner of Fort Worth, TX; Cindy Pence of Panama City, FL; Lorie Joyner of Rogers, AR and Brenda Hale of Daphne, AL; Grandchildren, Ryan, Kristin, Richard, Rachael, Rebecca, Madison and Christopher. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Spanish Fort Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Spanish Fort Church of Christ Youth New Bus Fund.
