MCGOUGH Margaret Ann McGough, Age 90, born in Brainard, NE; and a resident of Daphne, AL., passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at a local health care facility. She and her husband, Lloyd faithfully served their church and community and although her body and mind declined, her dedication to prayer stayed strong. She was known as “MaGoo” by family and friends who loved her dearly. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd McGough, a son, Steve McGough and a grandson, Keith Pennington, as well as three siblings, Rose Radanavick , Emil Kobza and Ben Kobza. Survivors include four daughters, Janette (Lloyd) Pennington of Bastrop, LA, Annette (Pat) Hipp of Jonesville, LA, Brenda (Alvin) Lunsford of Butler, AL, and Elizabeth (Walter) Cochran of Gulf Shores, AL; daughter-in-law, Jane McGough of Spanish Fort, AL; seven sisters, Alice Lipton of Clinton, MD, Agnes Hottovy of Columbus, NE, Betty Bloom of Phoenix, AZ, Marie Collopy of Battle Creek, MI, Gabriella Rezney of Wilmer, NE, Dorothy Lavitsky of Bee, NE, and Helen Duffek of Bee, NE; one brother, Bernard Kobza of Omaha, NE; nine grandchildren, Kristi Reavis of Houston, TX, Patricia Dry of Zachary, LA, Steven McGough of Spanish Fort, AL, Shane McGough of Daphne, AL, Leslie Jordan of Jasper, AL, Whitney Whitaker of McDonough, GA, Lindsey Ard of Silverhill, AL, Walt Cochran of Las Vegas, NV and Natalie Murray of Mobile, AL; sixteen great grandchildren, Andrew Reavis, Kalli Reavis, Katja Reavis, Kees Reavis, Shelbi Bush, Emma Dry, Grace Dry, Brooklyn McGough, Mason McGough, Henry McGough, Owen McGough, Ella Jordan, Mary Riley Jordan, Trenton Whitaker, Kamdyn Whitaker and Mavrick Ard; numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Graveside services were held on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 3:00pm at Jubilee Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Alvin Lunsford, Mark Whitaker, Scott Ard, Steven McGough, Shane McGough and Lloyd Pitts. Honorary pallbeares were Lloyd Pennington and Andrew Reavis.
