BUTLER DAPHNE, AL Mrs. Helen (Marino) Lee Butler, born to the union of Mr. and Mrs. Percy P. (Ethel Wainwright) Marino in Daphne, Alabama on October 4, 1936, exchanged life for eternity on Monday, November 11, 2013. Helen attended and graduated from the Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic School. She worked and retired from the United States Postal Service in 1999 after 20 years of service. Helen was eclectic in her pursuits and travels. She was an avid photographer, videographer, canvas artist and book collector. Helen was a lifelong member of the Shrine of the Holy Cross Catholic Church, always returning to her home church no matter how far she traveled – she loved singing in the choir. Preceding her in death were her parents; two husbands, Ruthven Lee and Aaron Butler; one daughter, Monica Lee McLaughlin; two sisters, Marietta Conklin and Eleanor Reese; and two brothers, Rudolph Marino and Percy W. Marino. Cherishing her beautiful and precious memories are her loving daughter and son-in-law, Loraine (David) Crosson; her beloved grandsons, Ali Crosson and Michael McLaughlin, and granddaughters, Dana and Lindsey Crosson; two sisters, Lucille McMillan and Ida (Teodulo) Llorente; and two brothers, Robert B. Marino and Nolan (Wenonah) Marino; devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Shrine of the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Daphne, AL. The family receive friends at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Twin Beech Cemetery in Fairhope, AL.
