Horman Marshall Wellborn

WELLBORN ELBERTA, AL Horman Marshall Wellborn, age 82, born May 20, 1931, Baker, FL, resident of Elberta, AL passed away Friday, November 1, 2013. He was a member of Elberta Faith Fellowship and retired from Eglin Air Force Base in 1996. Marshal loved to hunt, fish and garden. Mr. Wellborn was a US Army Veteran serving in the Korean War. Marshall was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Nancy Wellborn; sister, Idez Jones and stepson, Clint Lord. Marshall is survived by his wife of 29 years, Cleta Lord Wellborn of Elberta, AL; daughters, Gloria W. Rake, Barbara Lord, Pat (Bobby) Jones, Terrie (Mike)Grissett; sons, Oscar Lord, Terry (Julie) Lord, David Lord, Fred (Angel) Lord; 18 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and sisters, Elizabeth (James) Rathel, Vera Landry, Betty Todd and Doris (Jim) Beals. Funeral service will be Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at 11:00AM at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley, AL. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Interment will follow at Elberta Public Cemetery. Marshall was a very loving husband, father, brother, and Paw Paw. He will be greatly missed.
