Zachary "Zack" Wayne Gatlin, Jr.

DAPHNE, AL.  Zachary Wayne “Zack” Gatlin, Jr., Age 32, a lifelong resident of Daphne, AL., passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2013.  Zack attended Daphne High School and St. Stanislaus Catholic Boarding School, Bay St. Louis, MS. He was currently pursuing a career in Culinary Arts. After graduation from high school, Zack joined the Navy and served in the naval operation Enduring Freedom. Zack brought great joy to his family and friends. His passion for the great outdoors extended from the Gulf Coast to the Rocky Mountains. All of these adventures he shared with his beloved Labrador  retriever, Dixie. Zack is preceded in death by a sister, Stacey Gatlin. Survivors include his parents, Wayne and Patti Hines Gatlin; two sisters, Amanda Gatlin (Paul Thomas) Knapstein and Amy Gatlin (Barry) Taylor all of Daphne, AL; nieces and nephews, Chase, Eva and Smith Knapstein, Bennett, Madison and Ford Taylor; aunts, uncles, many cousins, other relatives and friends.
