Ruby Jo Burkett

SATSUMA Ms. Ruby J. Burkett was called home Sunday, July 28, 2013 surrounded by her loving Family. She was born January 10, 1943 to the late Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Smith. She was a retired nurse, loving mother and grandmother. Ms. Ruby was preceded in death by two children, Dennis and Joni. She is survived by her son, David J. (Lynn) Burkett, Sr.; her daughters, Karen B. (Terry) Dobbins, Toni L. (Randy) McPherson; eleven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 8:00 PM at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
