Edgar Clarence Wing

September 20, 1922 — July 21, 2013

BAY MINETTE Edgar Clarence Wing, age 90, a native of Taylor, PA., and a resident of Spanish Fort, Alabama passed away Sunday, July 21st 2013 at a local health care facility. A WWII Veteran of the European Theater, aerospace engineer, Jazz trumpet player and avid tennis player.  Recipient of numerous medals in the North Carolina Senior Games. Mr. Wing is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Januzzi-Wing (7/10/2013). Survivors include three daughters, Linda (Jim) Russo of Spanish Fort, AL., Norma (Brian) Stephens of Marriottsville, MD and Carol (Charlie) Schermerhorn of Sorrento, FL; four grandchildren, Mindy Russo, Madison Stephens, April Schermerhorn and Adam Schermerhorn; two cousins, Russell and Lorraine Polley of PA; former wife and mother of his children, Dolores S. Manley of  Daytona Beach Shores; other relatives and friends. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 11:00am at Christ the King Catholic Church with Father Lito as Celebrant.
