Reida Cornell

CORNELL FOLEY, AL                             In loving memory of our mother, Reida Cornell, born Eletheria Raises on May 1,1924 in Pensacola, FL and raised in Jackson, MS.  She went to be with Jesus on Saturday, July 6, 2013. She was a longtime resident of Magnolia Springs, Gulf Shores and Foley, AL. Reida was an avid bowler and even competed nationally for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Malcolm “Mike” Cornell on August 17, 2010. She leaves behind four children, Janice (Kermit) Broussard of Elberta,Frank Cornell of Foley, Michael “Mickey” (Patsy) Cornell of Bon Secour, Sharon (Dwight “Bo”) Dearmon of Gulf Shores;  ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren;  a sister, Francis Raises Gilmore and two brothers, John Raises and Frank Raises. A memorial service will be held for family and close friends Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Harvest Church, Summerdale. Arrangements by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. 2551 S.
